Four more wanted persons surrender in St James
Four of eight individuals who were on the weekend added to a list of persons who are wanted by the police in St James, turned themselves in to the law on Monday, February 5.
They are:
• Twenty-one-year-old Tajay Dixon and Fiona Williams, both of Grange Pen, Lilliput, St James, who were wanted for shooting with intent. They surrendered in the company of their attorney.
They were wanted for an incident which occurred on Friday, February 2, 2018, at about 7:00 p.m., at Grange Pen. It is alleged that both persons, who are related, had a dispute with a man. The man was called from his home and shot several times.
• Timoy Spence, otherwise called ‘Shotta’, and Leon Spence, both of Red Square, Tucker in St James. They were wanted for shooting with intent, and were accompanied by their attorney.
Timoy and Leon Spence were wanted for shooting with intent, which occurred on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at about 2:00 p.m., in Red Square. Both men are alleged to have been involved in a dispute with another man, when they reportedly each brandished firearms and opened gunfire, hitting the complainant.
The four who came in on Monday bring to five the number of wanted persons to have surrendered in St James since Saturday, when Kirk Stephens, otherwise called ‘Wanka’, a 27-year-old music producer of Flanker and Guango Crescent, both in St James, turned himself in, also in the company of an attorney.
Stephens has since been charged with two counts of murder and one count of wounding with intent.
The police, in the parish where a state of emergency is in force, have renewed their appeal for all persons named as being wanted there, to turn themselves in to the nearest police station.
Anyone knowing their whereabouts is being asked to contact the Montego Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) at 953-6191, Crime Stop at 311, the nearest police station or 811.
ROLL CALL: St James police step up the tempo against ‘wanted’ figures
Following the surrender of a ‘most wanted’ man in St James on Saturday, the police there have listed some additional persons as being wanted for several offences which were committed in the parish, and are urging them to turn themselves in to the police by midday on Monday, February 5.
St James is presently under a state of emergency, with a huge security presence there, which is designed to disrupt criminal activities and bring the perpetrators to justice, by free will or whatever force is necessary.
The latest wanted persons to be named in the parish are as follows:

Christopher Boyd, otherwise called ‘Plank’; and
Kiran Gowe.
These men are wanted for murder and shooting with intent, which occurred along Sunset Boulevard, Montego Bay, St James on January 16, 2018.
Tajay Dixon, a 21-year-old unemployed of Grange Pen, Lilliput, St James; and
Fiona Williams, a female bartender of the same address.

Christopher Taylor, a 42-year-old construction worker of Green Heights Meadows, St James, who is wanted for indecent assault.
Christopher Vassell, a 25-year-old farmer of Tangle River, St James, who is wanted for sexual offences.
