Hanover man beheaded, reportedly by a relative

The Hanover police are investigating the gruesome killing of a man who was reportedly beheaded by a family member during an altercation at the attacker's home on Saturday morning. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Keniel Hall of Rejoin district in the parish. Reports from the Lucea police are that about 9:00 a.m., Hall went to visit his relative at River Road district in the parish after calls to the relative’s telephone went unanswered. While at the relative’s house, an altercation developed between them, during which a machete was brought into play. Hall was chopped multiple times and his head severed. Upon the arrival of the police who were summoned, the scene was processed and the mutilated body was removed. The Lucea police who are investigating, are still in search of the suspect for questioning. The bizarre incident comes on the heels of a double murder in the parish last Wednesday night, when an elderly woman and her grandson were brutally gunned down at their home. The deceased have been identified as Laurel Fray, 91, and her grandson, Jessie Spence,15, of Malcolm Heights in Lucea.
